CK-AP (UV filter housing)

CK-AP, UV purification is adapted for commercial kitchens, such as restaurant kitchens and industrial kitchens where large food preparation takes place.

  • Reduces grease in the duct up to the fan
  • Reduces the risk of fire
  • Reduces viruses and bacteria in the air
  • Reduces odors in the air

Description

Filter housings type CK-AP for UV purification are made entirely of stainless steel sheet quality EN 1.4301 brushed surface. The labyrinth filters are also made of stainless steel. The standard or high power UV lamps are placed in stainless steel frames and are connected with a special connector to a separate ballast box, placed completely outside the air stream.

The UV frames are placed horizontally and are easy to dismantle for cleaning/service. Above the UV lamps there are distribution chambers for equalizing and distributing the air flow. This ensures that the UV light and the ozone produced are used efficiently. The filter housing has a safety device that switches off the UV light if the filter is removed or the pressure drops abnormally.

CK-AP is installed in newly built kitchen facilities or as a unit in existing kitchen facilities.

Standard lamps – 39 W

The lamps are switched on with preheating to protect the lamps. They are used at normal temperatures, max 40 degrees C on the exhaust air. Replacement interval is 8000 hours.

High power lamps – 150 W

High power lamps were used at an exhaust air temperature of max 75 degrees C. Replacement interval is 15000 hours.

TCP control panel

The TCP control panel is designed to control and monitor UV purification systems in filter houses, duct air cleaners, wastewater treatment plants and other applications.

It connects to 1-phase AC power (max 250 V) and can control UV lamps with a total power of 2200W. The control panel is programmed to provide information and alarms and can be easily set for the current installation.

Sizing guide

UV housing type CK-AP W

UV housing type CK-AP C

The flow guide

We have two types of lamps.

Depending on the type and size of the filter housing, the exhaust air is adapted.

Depending on the size of the filter, you get different K-factors.

K-factors

Note! Per filter, multiply the number of filters by the k-factor (q = K √p, where q is the air flow and p is the pressure drop).

  • Labyrinth filter 400×350 = 17
  • Labyrinth filter 400×500 = 21.6

We are professionals in commercial kitchens and will help you find the right one.
