Exhaust air hood D-hood 1-sided

Kitchen hood type D is made to order with the desired dimensions. It can have straight sides or sloping sides and it can be made in a variety of variants according to needs.

This particular hood is designed with 1 mantle side for installation between two walls. For other design needs, check out our other exhaust air hoods D – hood: 2 – sided, 3 – sided and 4 – sided.

Exhaust air hood type D can be selected if it is to be placed against a wall or freely suspended (type center). When choosing a wall, 3 sides of the hood are selected as standard with an additional wall strip that is placed on the wall to support the cassette ceiling.

A D-hood center is a 4-sided exhaust air hood, which is usually placed over kitchen islands where kitchen equipment is placed in the middle of a room instead of against the wall. The center can also be used with placement against the road if you want a sheet metal side against the wall as protection.

Choice of filter housing and filter

Cover type D can be fitted with a filter housing on request. We have several different types of filter housings:

UV house

Tovenco’s own UV treatment, type CK-AP, for all hoods in the Tovenco range.

Cyclone filter housing

For effective purification without UV, our filter banks type FBV/FBC are used.

Common filter housings

Where purification does not have high requirements, our filter housings type FHV or FHC are used with the choice of High-flow or knitted filters.

The type D cover is available with several types of roof:

Cassette roof

Cassette roofs come as standard for all covers in the Tovenco range. With cassettes, you can easily mount the sheet metal profiles upside down for easier cleaning over the cover or to access ducts.

Flat sheet metal roof

When ordering, you can choose to have the roof as a sheet metal unit.

Allocation ceiling

Tovenco’s own distribution ceiling is standard for our dishwasher hoods. It works like a suction box where you have an evenly distributed suction over the entire width of the hood.

Lighting

The cover is equipped as standard with a dimmable LED luminaire. Our luminaires are specially adapted to withstand demanding environments.

• Optional: Dali donors are available to add to our lighting.

The cover is delivered in parts and assembled with corner fittings. Cover sides longer than 2.9 m are spliced and delivered in parts and assembled on site.
