The fan sucks badly
The lighting stopped working
- Change the lamps/light source, if the fault persists contact us.
It draws in cold air from the fan
- Check that the cold draught excluder/check damper is properly fitted or that it is not stuck in the open position.
The external ceiling fan suddenly does not work after a cold winter.
- Check if ice has formed on the roof around the fan.
The touch panel shows different numbers
- It may be time to clean the filters. Read the user manual for how to reset.
The fan speed lowers by itself after a while.
- According to energy regulations, the fan must not run at maximum speed for more than 10 minutes. After that, the speed is automatically reduced.
- Read the instructions for use.
The fan turns itself off after a while
- Check if the overrun timer is activated. Read the user manual.
Care advice
- Pay attention to cleaning and wash the grease filters / replace carbon filters as recommended in the user manual.
- For optimal performance, start the fan 5 minutes before cooking and leave the run-on timer running after cooking.
- Read the instructions for use and follow the advice.
Service during the warranty period
Before reporting a fault, please check that the product is covered by the warranty. Tovenco provides a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery from us. Applies to manufacturing and material defects that can be found during normal use in private use. The warranty does not cover improper care, connection or installation, defects caused by external influences (eg thunderstorms) and defects in the electrical installation. Lamps are consumables and are not covered by the warranty.
