Filter banks type FBV and FBC with cyclone filters for more efficient cleaning in kitchen hoods.
Tovenco’s filter housing is used as our standard choice when designing kitchen hoods. Filter houses are equipped with cyclone filters which provide good separation and constant pressure drop.
The casing is made of stainless steel sheet quality EN 1.4301 brushed surface. At the top there are mounting plates, which can easily be removed if they are not needed. As standard, the duct connections are round, but can be made rectangular on special order.
At the bottom there are one or more grease cups for collecting the grease separated in the cyclones.
Type FBV is wall filter housing with a row of filters.
Type FBC are center filter housings with double rows of filters.
In the filter there are a number of cyclones, where air is sucked in at the top and bottom. By rotating the air in the cyclones, the grease is thrown around and then flows out at the bottom of the filter. and at the bottom of the filter bank. The advantage of cyclone filters is that there is the same pressure drop all the time even if it is dirty. Our filters have been tested at the Ventilation Center’s laboratory in Enköping.
