Pascal Centrum is a high performance modular enclosure. Available in six standard sizes and can be combined into longer units. Intended for free hanging installation over kitchen island.
Supply and exhaust air hood with control air and comfort nozzles. Mainly for free-hanging installation. The hood is supplied complete with selected filters, purification system and lighting. Fire extinguishing system as an accessory.
The hood’s supply and exhaust air section, casings, inner ceiling and highflow filters are made of brushed stainless steel EN.4301. Cyclone filters are made of EN4301 2B surface. Knitted filters in aluminum. LED lighting with brushed aluminum.
The hood has adjustment dampers that are mainly used to adjust/distribute the air evenly in the filter housing or the pressure box for supply air. Measuring sockets with k-factor are located on the inside of the hood for the filter housing, supply air and control air. If the unit supplies other premises or products, the ventilation system should be supplemented with additional measuring/adjustment dampers.
The hood is equipped with control air along the entire length of the hood. The control air is adjustable and directed towards the exhaust air section filter to optimize the dust collection.
Comfort nozzles allow adjustment of the displacing airflow along the sides of the hood and provide a downward airflow in the occupied zone, which can provide a pleasant cooling effect at high kitchen temperatures.
The cover is equipped as standard with a dimmable LED luminaire. Our luminaires are specially adapted to withstand demanding environments. Possible to choose to Dali don.
Ansulex is specially designed for fire fighting in the kitchen environment. Ansulex is a liquid that emulsifies and forms a dense foam on contact with grease. The effective foam layer quickly smothers the fire and prevents re-ignition. Because the liquid foams on contact with the hot grease, it does not burn, and cleaning can then be done with hot water and ordinary detergent. The system works independently of water or electricity supply.
The filter has a number of cyclones. The exhaust air is sucked through the lamellae into the cyclone chamber and ejected against the walls of the chamber, then flows down and out through the bottom of the filter to be collected later in one or more grease cups.
You can find more information about our cyclone filters here.
Separates the grease in the air by condensation. The grease remains in the filter. The pressure drop varies and increases during operation and as the filter becomes dirty. The design pressure drop is for a completely clean filter.
Has slats that allow the air to change direction several times. The separation is done by throwing the grease against the edges of the lamellae and the grease then flows down and out through the bottom of the filter to be collected later in one or more grease cups.
If you can handle your calculated exhaust air flow with a cyclone filter, they are the best choice. If you cannot handle the exhaust air flow, choose HiFlow filters first and a Sticky filter last. If none of the above options can handle your exhaust air flow or if you are unsure, contact Tovenco and we will help you choose a filter or an alternative solution to handle the flow.
The filter housing has built-in UV lamps which, when illuminating the air stream, perform two parallel processes: photolysis, which breaks down the fat molecules directly around the UV lamps in the filter housing, and ozone, which produces ozonolysis. During ozonolysis, oxidation of the fat molecules takes place and the fat is broken down on its way out into the duct system. For adequate degradation, a certain reaction distance / time is required in the duct system according to the so-called 3-second rule. The end product is carbon dioxide, water and a small amount of polymerized fat in powder form (polymerized fat is completely degradable).
For UV purification, only HiFlow filters are used:
Pascal wall and center standard sizes can be combined to many different lengths, heights and widths.
